About
Deep tissue massage applies firm, sustained pressure to release chronic tension below the surface muscle layers. It focuses on back, neck, shoulders and hips where chronic restriction tends to settle.
The session opens with a brief warm-up using warm oil and towels. In the main session, the therapist softens the myofascial lines using thumbs, elbows and forearms. The rhythm is slower than classic massage; in some areas a "good pressure" sensation may emerge at the threshold.
Suitable for those with chronic back pain and guests who prefer firmer pressure. For first-time massage clients we recommend Classic Swedish first. Mild muscle tenderness in the 24-48 hours afterwards is normal.
