About
The Ottoman Palace Hammam is our signature ritual, inspired by the hammam tradition of the Topkapı and Dolmabahçe palaces. To the navel stone, kese and foam steps of the traditional Turkish hammam, it adds a body mask or peel that you choose when booking, turning cleansing into a complete ritual finished with skin care.
How does the ritual unfold?
- Navel stone: You rest on the heated marble navel stone, preparing body and skin.
- Kese: The dead skin layer is exfoliated with a traditional kese mitt.
- Body treatment: Your chosen mask or peel is applied to the whole body.
- Foam and hair wash: A foam massage and a hair wash with warm water from copper bowls complete the ritual, followed by herbal tea.
The ritual lasts 50 minutes in total.

Which body mask should I choose?
For dry-looking skin we suggest the rose–honey hydrating mask, for a smoother feel the coffee–almond oil peel, and for sensitive skin the green tea–yoghurt mask. For a traditional touch choose the hammam clay mask, or the oat–milk mask for softness. If you are unsure, ask your branch when booking.
Can I have a massage after the hammam?
Yes. As the warmth of the hammam softens the muscles, a massage afterwards makes a good complement. If you would like the two back to back, you can plan your appointment with your branch.
