About
The Traditional Turkish Hammam is a bodily purification and rest ritual carried from Seljuk and Ottoman times into the present. An authentic experience meeting modern hygiene standards.
The session opens with a 10-minute rest on the heated marble göbek taşı. During this time muscles soften and pores open. The traditional kese application then removes the dead skin layer; performed by our experienced tellâks at pressure suited to your skin type.
The foam massage is applied with a traditional pouch using olive-oil soap. The ritual is completed with a hair wash using lukewarm water poured from copper bowls. Fresh mint tea is offered in the relaxation area afterwards.
