About
Shiroabhyanga massage is a head, neck and shoulder therapy from a 5,000-year Ayurvedic tradition — its name in Sanskrit means "head oil application".
The session begins with warmed oil softly dripped onto the scalp (typically sesame, coconut or almond oil). The therapist works the hair roots with small circular fingertip motions. The application uses marma points (Ayurveda's acupressure points).
Suitable for those with mental fatigue, frequent headache sufferers, and long-screen-time professionals. Your hair and skin are nourished by the oil; you can leave the oil on the scalp for at least two hours.
