About
The Warm Candle Ritual is a massage given with a special massage candle made from plant oils. Massage candles melt at a low temperature: once lit, the melted part becomes a massage oil just warm enough to pour onto the skin. Your therapist pours this warm oil over your body and begins with soft, flowing strokes. Together, the warmth and the slow pace let the body relax quickly.
How the ritual unfolds
- Preparation: The massage candle is lit and begins to melt as you settle on the table.
- Warm oil: Your therapist checks the temperature of the melted oil and pours it over your back and legs.
- Massage: The oil is spread over the whole body with slow, enveloping strokes at medium pressure.
- Closing: The session ends with calm strokes, leaving your skin feeling soft and cared for.
The ritual lasts 70 minutes and is available at our Folkart Towers branch in Izmir.

Does a warm candle massage burn the skin?
No. Massage candles melt at a lower temperature than ordinary candles, and your therapist checks the temperature before pouring the oil. If the warmth feels uncomfortable, just say so.
